The first three projects I chose for todays DIYs to Try post were all made with wood, so I decided to stick to the material. Above are my favorite wood projects from April so far!

As for me, I’ll be working on DIY projects for the blog this weekend and binging the new Girl Boss show on Netflix. Hope you have a great and crafty weekend!

I remember doing tie-dye at a summer camp I went to as a kid and it was my favorite thing! I loved playing with the placement of the rubber bands to try and create cool patterns. Of course, it would never turn out how you imagined but you would convince yourself that it still looked cool.

Shibori is a Japanese technique of dying by binding, stitching, twisting, folding and compressing fabric to create intricate designs. AKA, tie-dye for adults. The main dye used in shibori is indigo. I’ve been obsessed with this deep shade of blue for a while now and am trying to figure out ways to incorporate the color into my home. These DIY indigo projects are a good start for inspiration! 7 DIYS to Try this weekend

This past week I’ve been DIYing more than I have in the past few months and it feels so good to be back! I get a lot of my inspiration from other bloggers and here are the latest 7 projects that I totally obsessed with!

As for the weekend, I have a whole lot of nothing planned. I just finished watching The People vs OJ Simpson and it was so good! Now I need a new show to watch if you have any recommendations! I’ll also be dreaming up new DIYS for the coming week so stay tuned!

DIY HANGING MACRAME PLANTER

Remember in my last post when I said I had bought an embarrassing amount of rope? Well, it’s because of the macrame kick I’ve been on the past few months. After seeing all the amazing macrame artists on social media , I was so inspired to learn the craft. I’ve recently gotten into macrame and have bought more rope than I’d care to admit. Seriously, I have an entire spool of rope sitting on my floor as we speak. I’ve made a few wall hangings but wanted inspiration for different projects.
