Happy Friday…and St. Patrick’s Day Weekend!! I’m heading into Chicago tomorrow to watch them dye the river green, catch the parade, and of course, drink some green beer and find some St. Paddy’s themed treats. If you’re celebrating the holiday, these Lucky Charms chocolate bars are the perfect treat!
I was looking for holiday-themed desserts and remembered these chocolate bars from Compartes. I stuck with just Lucky Charms and melted some white chocolate and they were still so good.
You’ll need:
– Chocolate Bar Mold
– Your favorite White Chocolate
– Vegetable Oil (optional)
– Lucky Charms
– Various Bowls
– Rubber Spatula
Instructions:
-
- Fill the chocolate bar mold with a handful of Lucky Charm marshmallows.
- Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring gently between each interval. Add a few drops of vegetable oil if your chocolate is too thick.
- Pour the melted white chocolate into the mold overtop of the marshmallows.
- Tap the mold on the tap to spread out the chocolate, filling any gaps in the mold, and to get rid of any air bubbles
- Sprinkle more cereal and marshmallow pieces overtop of the chocolate.
- Place the mold in the refrigerator to set for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Once the chocolate is completely set, gently twist the mold to release the bars.
Enjoy your Lucky Charms Chocolate Bars!
