I started this site in 2012 as a creative outlet during a tough job search. A year later, I ended up training at The French Pastry School in Chicago and loved the city so much I stayed. Though my career has since shifted, my love of baking remains as evidenced by the recipes you’ll find on the blog. When I’m not crafting or writing, you’ll likely find me championing breakfast for dinner, walking along the lakeshore, or rewatching a show I’ve seen a dozen times.
