If you’re a long time reader you will already know that my favorite projects are easy and simple. Today’s project is both. I saw a picture of this hanging leather rack on Pinterest and knew right away I had to try and make my own. This was my first time working with real leather so it was definitely an educational experience as well.
Happy Friday, friends! Don’t know about you but spring fever is in full effect at my house. I live with three dogs and we find ourselves playing outside more and more these days. This is the first time I’ve ever lived with dogs and I honestly don’t remember what life was like without them. I’m hoping to make some DIYs for the blog in between playtime this weekend. Plus, I have an exciting announcement coming up next week so stay tuned!
I’m not gonna lie to you guys. This DIY almost didn’t happen. I had seen so many tutorials on marbling that I wanted to try it for myself. I figured, how hard could it be? Apparently, it takes a little practice. The images you see are from my SECOND attempt. The first time I marbled these planters they were splotchy and clumpy. It was frustrating to say the least, but I hope my failure will be your success. Keep reading to see how I made these marbled planters with tips on what not to do!
This past week I’ve been DIYing more than I have in the past few months and it feels so good to be back! I get a lot of my inspiration from other bloggers and here are the latest 7 projects that I totally obsessed with!
As for the weekend, I have a whole lot of nothing planned. I just finished watching The People vs OJ Simpson and it was so good! Now I need a new show to watch if you have any recommendations! I’ll also be dreaming up new DIYS for the coming week so stay tuned!
