DIYS TO TRY FOR EARTH DAY

04.22.19

Happy Earth Day!! Ever since moving out on my own and being so aware of the things I have to buy, I was surprised by how much waste I produce. Lately, I’ve been trying to swap out some everyday items with more sustainable options. I recently bought a silicon sponge for washing dishes that is supposed to last much longer than a typical sponge. (Silicon sponges also don’t hold bacteria like a regular sponge.) I also started using cloth makeup wipes and they are honestly much more gentle on my skin. Changes like these may seem small, but they add up to a more sustainable life!

I’ve gathered some green DIYS for more inspiration. I’ll definitely make the beeswax wraps and bowl covers for my kitchen! Click through to see all the DIYS!
